At Nerdvana, we take security seriously. We've implemented multiple layers of fraud prevention to protect both our customers and our business.
Digital goods like gift cards and store credit are high-risk for fraud because they can be instantly delivered and used. Our security measures help prevent:

Separately from the payment checks above, we keep a simple reliability record against your account for bookings and pay-in-store collection orders. Our Privacy Policy refers here for what these do and how to challenge them.
If you miss a booking, or cancel a booking or collection order at short notice, we record a count and mark the account for review, with a short note of what happened. Staff use this to decide whether to ask for a deposit on future high-risk bookings — for example a large table on a busy evening.
Think a flag is wrong, or had a good reason? Tell us and we will review it — buses do not turn up, people get ill, and we would rather hear about it. Email hello@nerdvanalivingston.co.uk or call 07810 242368 and we can clear the record straight away. You can also see whatever we hold about you at any time via Manage My Data.
